We’re joined by a doctor, a hypnotist and someone from Nicotine Anonymous to learn more about the various methods used by smokers to end nicotine addiction, and finally give up cigarettes.

We’re joined by the owner of the Bayshore Coffee Company in Naples to learn more about their popular, weekly open mic night. We’ll hear some of their regular players, perform live on the air…and learn more about the coffee business, and its role in Southwest Florida’s entertainment scene.

The state of Florida is one step closer to restoring natural water flows into the Everglades. It was recently announced that the U-S Sugar Corporation intends to sell roughly 187-thousand acres of farmland south of Lake Okeechobee to the state. It’s being considered a major victory by environmentalists. We’ll talk with the state about the purchase as well as the Water Management District and U-S Sugar. And we’ll ask how significant this sale is - and what it could mean to Florida’s eco-system.

The recent spike in the price of oil and gasoline has, if not reversed then at least softened Florida Governor Charlie Crist’s position on offshore drilling. He recently said he supports ending the 20 year federal moratorium on offshore drilling…but he also said it should be up to states to decide. And that Florida wouldn’t allow it unless it was proven safe. We’re joined by a number of guests to get the angles on this hot-button issue.
