Asolo Rep in Sarasota is bringing to the stage a re-imagined production of Working A Musical. The revamped production will feature new music by Broadway’s rising star, Lin-Manuel Miranda, who was recently lauded for his big hit In the Heights. It will be directed by Gordon Greenberg. This well-loved musical based on the writings of Studs Terkel - Working -explores the gamut of people’s emotions about their jobs.

The latest show at Florida Repertory Theatre, "Visiting Mr. Green" takes one unlikey relationship and forces the audience to look inward at its pride and prejudices. We'll meet actor David Howard, who plays Mr. Green and director Howard Millman. You've seen Howard on film in Meet Joe Black, Moonstruck and Crimes and Misdeamnors and most recently at Florida Rep playing Morrie Schwartz in Tuesdays with Morrie. Director Millman leads the Asolo Repertory Theater in Sarasota.

After a long absence, one can now enjoy Shakespeare again in Southwest Florida...mainly in Naples. And it’s often thanks to one man. We’ll meet John McKerrow who has recently directed "Macbeth" at Lely High School, taught a workshop course on “Twelfth Night", directed "The Tempest" at The Sugden Theatre, served on the board of the Naples Shakespeare Festival and this weekend directs a staged reading of the classic comedy of identity and attraction – Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” or “What You Will”. The Bard returns to Southwest Florida!
